Scott E. Herbert, DPM

Dr. Herbert founded Twin County Podiatry in 2006. Dr. Scott Herbert is a board certified foot surgeon by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Herbert is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Subsequent to earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of Buffalo, Dr. Herbert attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Upon receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree, Dr. Herbert pursued an intensive two year podiatric surgical residency program at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ. His residency involved the most state-of-the-art foot and ankle surgeries, including trauma and wound care of the foot and ankle. Dr. Herbert is on staff at Long Island Jewish Hospital and is actively involved in the training of residents at the hospital. Dr. Herbert has an extensive knowledge in the treatment of diabetic foot care and limb loss prevention, as well as a significant and well respected elective surgical practice. In addition to performing podiatric foot surgeries, he also prescribes corrective devices such as custom orthotics and provides laser treatments for toenail fungus. Dr. Herbert provides extensive medical and surgical treatment of both adults and children at his offices located in Nassau County, Queens, and Manhattan. In his free time, Dr. Herbert enjoys spending time with family, and is an avid cyclist and runner.
